I want to keep him!

It rained all weekend at the cabin making it difficult to get some good birdy photos without getting my camera wet. But I did manage to get this adorable goldfinch - doesn't his feathers looks so soft? I want to keep him!

...they do look soft....soft and buttery yellow! Sweet bird--wouldn't it be great if they cuddled in your hand?

I'm just starting to see more of them. :c) I do hope their Siskin cousins stay home this year.

What a beautiful picture!!!!!
I almost didn't recognize him!

I can't remember if I already told you this or not... I ordered a bunch (8, I think) of mugs from your store. I love them! They were bubble wrapped so nicely! They are all Christmas gifts.

So cute! He looks like a baby chick. When he gets his bright yellow coat, he will really be beautiful!

Is't he a sweetie, Shelley??? I love our Goldfinch--even though ours aren't quite as yellow these days.

A little beauty Shelley.

That is a very cuddly looking Goldfinch. I thought of cinnamon when I saw its colour. Perhaps you can train him to come to your hand like you have with the Chickadees Shelley.

Hi Shelley,
the last comment from ALPin is actually from me. I had your blog opened as my brother used my PC and didn't realize that our users switched. Sorry ... you don't need to publish this.
