Great shot, Shelley. Gotta love those Nuthatches!
And a good sized nut at that!
Fantastic shot of the nuthatch!! It is so nice to think that such a beauty can come in your garden!
Great shot and certainly easier than struggling with a wriggly worm. FAB.
Hi Shelly! I just love those cute Nuthatches! Great close up of him!
If I did that the old Blue Jays would go NUTS the little nuthatche would not get even one. LOLPatsy
That's one happy little Nuthatch. Great capture.
Hi Shelley,Great shot! You must love your little birds...giving them shelled peanuts!! Bet they love you, too!

Cute one, Shelley... The Nuthatches love the nuts, don't they???? I can put out a bunch of nuts---and that nuthatch will go back and forth and back and forth over and over taking the nuts to his stash somewhere... They are just so cute.Great picture.Hugs,Betsy

Fabulous capture Shelley! There are rarely any peanuts left for the birds once the squirrels spot them in our garden :-)

Hi Shelley,Great shot of the nuthatch..looks like he loves that neat feeder!!
I just love nuthatches. How can you not love something that approaches things differently--it's so refreshing to me to see them perch head-down like that.
I love your photos, Shelley! I actually wanted to ask if you would be willing to be a tour host (read and review) for Flyaway, about a woman who rehabilitates wild birds. There's more information here: http://tlcbooktours.com/2010/02/suzie-gilbert-author-of-flyaway-on-tour-marchapril-2010/. And if you're interested, just email me at trish(dot)browning(at)gmail.
I really should get a peanut feeder Shelley. Love it!
