Winter Cardinal

It sure is cold in Michigan right now! A couple inches of snow have fallen on the ground and the bird feeders have been crowded all day. What are you seeing today?

I know for sure that I am not seeing any beauty like this. I love the Cardinals and wish some would find my place.

Nothing as colourful as your Cardinal. The very wet weather over here seems to be keeping the birds away!!

We've seen lots of snow today, and it's very cold. Scout would probably love it here! haha! Beautiful photo of the cardinal, Shelley. Great shot!

No Cardinals, that's for sure! Mostly I'm seeing Redpolls at my feeders, sometimes upwards of 80 or so at a time. Makes for a bustling restaurant!

I do miss seeing Cardinals. When I lived in Virginia I would see them regularly, but they don't live on the west coast. Our loss. Beautiful picture.

It's good to hear from you, Shelley. That Cardinal is sure a beautiful RED! We have snow here too, but I'm sure you are a bit colder than us.

I have Redpolls, Nuthatches, Sparrows, Woodpeckers, etc. No Cardinals though. Send some on up here.
