Ode to the Black-capped Chickadee

Today I was watching my family of 8 Black-capped Chickadees swarm my feeders at the cabin. When I had to take the feeder down to refill it, I could hear all the noisy protests as they lined up in various trees to watch me. I was hurrying as fast as I could and then ran back to the cabin to watch them. These various photos are my ode to Black-capped Chickadees. They are definitely the boss of me!

Those are wonderful shots of chickadees. They are one of my favorite birds. I find it hard to get good shots of them because they are always fluttering around so much.

Great photos, crisp and clear. I look forward to trading up to an SLR so that I can get better photos at a distance. We get the Carolina Chickadee. They are so sweet and are year round visitors to our habitat. Your part of Michigan looks wonderful.

Came here from Onedia's blog. The chickadees look a lot like our magpie robins, here in India.
