Beautiful shot Shelley. I was expecting to see your loon soon. Are they back? Here they came back few weeks ago but the winter came back last week and they probably suffer from that. I hope they will do ok...
I have to say that I am guilty of taking for granted the robins in my garden, but I do enjoy watching them and occasionally chasing the murderous crows away from poor Robins' nests. Wonderful photograph Shelley.
Don't you just love them?? Their dawn and dusk songs warm my heart :)
When I was little I often tried to sneak up on them, they'd lean forward and run, then stop. Lean forward, run, then stop. They always saw me no matter how much I tried to sneak, lol.

Robins are a wonderful sign the Spring had arrived!!!
Isn't that the truth! I can't even imagine such a thing. The Robins are so wonderful to listen to at 5:30 in the morning : )
Looks like we are going to have a family of Robins out back this year.Great quote

Very smartly dressed but I think I prefer our smaller 'redbreast'. FAB.
I'd be mad too if I saw a Robin in a cage. Great picture.
a sure sign of spring here in the U.P. :)
Lovely shot Shelley. So different from ours, but just as beautiful.
I love to watch the robins looking for food in the yard. Wonderful capture!
I love the way the background colors blend in to the robin's coloring. Very pretty!

So that's what a robin looks like! I've only ever seen drawings of a robin.
I sure love seeing them back in the U.P.! And I hear them singing every morning by our lake.
