A Robin Redbreast in a cagePuts all Heaven in a Rage.~William Blake, Auguries of Innocence
Beautiful shot Shelley. I was expecting to see your loon soon. Are they back? Here they came back few weeks ago but the winter came back last week and they probably suffer from that. I hope they will do ok...
Oh, piddle! I wish I could get a pic that good ... awesome.Have a beautiful week.TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
Robins are a wonderful sign the Spring had arrived!!!
Hi there, Shelley! I've missed your posts! What a handsome Robin and the quote is perfect - hope you have a wonderful spring :-)
Isn't that the truth! I can't even imagine such a thing. The Robins are so wonderful to listen to at 5:30 in the morning : )
Looks like we are going to have a family of Robins out back this year.Great quotePatsy
Welcome back! I've missed your posts too! Great shot of the Robin. Happy Spring.
I like that quote--so true! You take such great pictures, Shelley.

Wonderful! I've been enjoying the robins' songs and calls drifting in through open windows. I'm loving this spring!
Great picture of the Robin, Shelley... Looks like Spring is coming to the cabin!!!HugsBetsy
Lovely! I am looking forward to seeing the first robin of spring. I always enjoy seeing them bobbing around in my yard.
wonderful shot : )love the quote
I have to say that I am guilty of taking for granted the robins in my garden, but I do enjoy watching them and occasionally chasing the murderous crows away from poor Robins' nests. Wonderful photograph Shelley.
Very smartly dressed but I think I prefer our smaller 'redbreast'. FAB.
I'd be mad too if I saw a Robin in a cage. Great picture.
a sure sign of spring here in the U.P. :)
Lovely shot Shelley. So different from ours, but just as beautiful.
I love to watch the robins looking for food in the yard. Wonderful capture!
I love the way the background colors blend in to the robin's coloring. Very pretty!
...love the poem...beautiful photo...thank goodness the new season is upon us!!!
So that's what a robin looks like! I've only ever seen drawings of a robin.
I sure love seeing them back in the U.P.! And I hear them singing every morning by our lake.
Don't you just love them?? Their dawn and dusk songs warm my heart :)When I was little I often tried to sneak up on them, they'd lean forward and run, then stop. Lean forward, run, then stop. They always saw me no matter how much I tried to sneak, lol.
Lovely shot of the robin. I am so happy spring is here, great birding to come.
Happy Spring and happy birding Shelley! Wonderful photo of the ever delightful American Robin!
