Hi Shelley,
At least you got an in-flight shot!
Good job!
It's still a nice shot - lots of action!
Great picture. That seems to be what a lot of my pictures look like...the back end of the duck.
It is a great capture!
Great shot!
Patsy
Aren't there some wonderful colors on those birds? In flight really shows them off.
Great, action shot!
Hi Shelley,
Well, you were not lucky, but as Dorothy said, you got them flying and a nice flight shot... I was thinking about publishing some pictures of the same species tonight that I got recently. I guess I'll wait a bit, I do not want you to be mad at me ;-) But, promise, I'll tell you my secret...
I like that photo, Shelley... At least you got it... Yesterday I saw a Pileated Woodpecker going up a tree. But--my picture only showed his TAIL... ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Love it!!!
lol
Happens to me a lot ;)
Great flight shots though. :)
Nice take-off work Shelley. I must admit that often I prefer action shots and you captured it well here. I hope you can get some good loon shots soon.
Me again... Ok now you can go to my blog again.. There is a nice surprise for you, but please don't cry ;-)
I like the water splashes, this shows action.Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,Ruth
I LOVE that shot...so don't worry...sometimes the unexpected shots are the best. :0}
That is a neat picture! Thought it was interesting how the feet and the beak appears to be the same color.
You got a great action shot! I like it.
That's a regular occurrence for me AND I miss the take off but you didn't. Nice shot Shelley. FAB.
Hahaha! So true...... Great photo....
Oh, but still, a wonderful photo opportunity of a ducks behind.
LOL Blessya
A great shot Shelley! Love the feet on the one out in front. We are going to check out your link on the owl family, thanks Shelley :)
Great photo none-the-less Shelley!
If I had a nickle for everytime that has happened to me....
Been there. Done that. More time than I can count. At least you got something worth while out of it.
Wow!! You were quite quick to capture them in flight..I love it!!
Shelley, I just need to say again how amazing your photography is!
LOL, this happens too often, doesn't it? I scare them like that often because I don't see them until they fly away... and they end up scaring me :P
Still a cool picture of them taking off!
And I think this is the better photograph! Looking at this action I can almost hear the action. Beautiful.
Doesn't matter if I'm quiet or noisy, I don't get great shots like that! Wonderful!
