Bob - my mourning dove bully - was trying to initimidate this little sparrow off one of my bird feeders. The sparrow was oblivious to him and happily munched his seeds. Nice try Bob!

I love that you actually named the mourning dove, can I ask why you chose Bob? When I think of Bob I don't think bully but then again when I think Bob I can guarantee that the images in my mind will only possibly match about a handful of other people. Let's just say you really had to know Bob.
Ha Ha! Bob takes a lesson from the little guy!!
Hi Christy - I had already named him Bob in my earlier post (The mourning doves have taken over) - but you're right - bob doesn't seem like a tough name!
Eve - Have to admire a hungry sparrow! :-)
What pretty markings. I love the dove bully, too! LOL Beautiful pictures.
Oh gee, I thought I was replying under the robin. LOL You can tell I'm not quite "there." ;-) Anyway, beautiful robin, beautiful dove.
What a great photo. I love the doves.
