They are such devils!!
We still have squirrels coming to our bird feeder too.... but our suet hangs from a pole that they haven't climbed up (YET!)

Very cute post! Squirrels do like to hang around the bird feeders. Last winter we had one tunnel through the snow to get up to the deck where he could get to the sunflower seeds. Very cute to watch.

I saw Kaibab squirrels at the Grand Canyon North Rim.

Cute post, Shelley.. I surely do miss your great blogs---but do understand that 'life' takes over some of the time...

Cute squirrels, Shelley! They look pretty guilty to me. If they didn't eat any, it was only because they couldn't get to it!!

Wait until they invite the raccoons, that's when the real party begins.

Excellent post Shelley!

Sad to say we only ever see grey squirrels here in Devon...

I have never seen a red one except on the tv or a book.

They are the worlds biggest moochers. I don't know why I keep feeding them.

Naughty, naughty! (shaking my finger at the squirrels) I know how THAT goes!

Shelly: I looked out the window late last night and to big raccoons were feeding under my feeders. I have the Black Squirrels but not the Red Squirrels around the house.

Love the red squirrels ~ we have black and grey in our garden ... and they LOVE the suet too :-)

Oh, how I wish we had those cute little red squirrels, Shelley! Your "talking" post was really cute. Could you send one of those little reds to me!!

And HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Too cute. We have grays and the occasional red, but no blacks. the only time I've seen them was when I worked in DC. I can't remember the name of the park---it's been over 20 years.

We DO have a white squirrel in our neighborhood. I haven't gotten a picture, yet. Perhaps I need to put out some suet.

Great squirrels!

LOL! Squirrels are great liars about what they have been up to :-) Perfect captions. Such a nice variety of colors in your squirrels.

Connie said...

Just popping in to say Hi to you, Shelley. :D Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Oh how frustrating to have the squirrels go after the suet....but I do love the colour of the reddish brown squirrel.

I had a visitor to my place yesterday, it's the Clark's Nutcatcher. This bird only visits the Pacific Coast about every 15 years so to see one on our property was a real treat!

Like all the different squirrels there with you Shelley.

With us you only see red.

Ha ha! Those are so cute. My Chester has yet to show up. I am very worried that something has happened to him. Thanks for the visit. And a really really BIG hug for Scout. Sharon I love that doggy!

Cute! We use hot pepper suet in the feeder near the deck, and the squirrels don't bother that feeder any longer.

Are you still in classes?
