Hi Shelley, That's a great picture of the Nuthatch... I love watching them come and grab the nuts in my plate feeder --when I put them out. They seem to know when to appear!!!!!! They take them one by one ---and go back and forth until they are gone!!!! SO cute...
Hope you are doing well. Are you back in school now? Hugs, Betsy
I love Nuthatches! I love listening to them, they crack me up! They have a whole lot to say while they make their way up and down the Oaks! Great shot Shelley as always :)
When the adults started bringing the youngsters to the feeders this summer, we had a hard time keeping the feeders full. It was so much fun watching the families. Glad to see you post! I was getting worried about ya!
Well cool that this feeder was a good investment. Concerning your loon, I cannot answer positively as I've not seen ours for months now and it looks like they did no breed successfully ...
Hi Shelley! Congratulations! You won the giveaway on my Smiling With Daisy blog. Please send me an email at gratefuldaisy@mail.com when you have the chance. :D
I know what you mean. We were gone for most of the month of September, so no birdfood was set out during that time. Within a few minutes of putting some out, the nuthatches were back.

Sweet picture Shelley! Are the trees at the cabin pretty yet??
Such a sweet photograph. We are having tons of birds and have to refill the feeders almost every day. I do love the migration!

Great picture, Shelley!
Hey Shelley - long time no see! Great photo.
Will it really take five minutes? It's amazing how quickly such little birds can clean out a feeder.
Sweet! I love seeing them at my feeders.

If you do empty it, make sure you chirp away loudly so that it gets filled to the brim again. :-) x x x
And here I always thought it was the squirrels!
Great shot!
I love those Nuthatches!
