What a cutie! Grama had a fat blue jay on her feeder the other day and it hangs from a shepherd's hook, and the poor guy was so heavy the feeder tipped! it was funny

Today some beautiful little red-capped, "striped" birds started hanging around my thistle feeder. I could not determine what they were with my two bird books. Thanks to your blog I learned they're common redpolls!
