Yes, I've brainwashed my husband. Not only does he identify birds, he now photographs them. Welcome to my bird world honey! (And nice shot of the red-bellied!)

Great picture! You taught your hubby well. :D
Ohhhh, what a capture! So enjoy your photos. I didn't catch our 'pecker today, he was too quick.
Have a beautiful weekend ~

Great picture of the Red-bellied, Shelley (Greg)...
I saw a Red-headed Woodpecker this week.. GOT so excited.. Haven't seen one in awhile.
Hope you two are doing fine.
Hugs,
Betsy
Amazing picture.I;m glad you now have a birding and photography partner.
Congrats to the man in your life Shelley, a nice capture.
I hope there are plenty of birds for me when I visit Michigan next month. Last year my favourites were the sand cranes on Oxford Hills golf course. Woodpeckers are usually too fast for me both in the UK and the States.
He did a good job! (So did you.)
Great job Greg!!
...hehehe! I used to call Rick "Rick the Reluctant Birder." He's been dragged into "our" world too and can now spot birds, identify them...and even knows many calls! Great photo, Greg!
Good to hear from you Shelley. How nice to have someone to share the fun with. About the most excited my husband has gotten over our birds is when the Orioles were here this Spring.
Tell your husband we enjoyed the picture and will look forward to more.
Very cool!
You gave him the virus!!! Well now, hide your gears Madame, he will just try to keep it to get nice pictures of the loons ;-)
That's a great picture! He's getting as good as you Shelly!! Well. Maybe not that good..Ha!
Think you have competition :-) :-) x x x
Good job, hubby!! :)
