To be fair, the rain this morning didn't help but my Chickadees are looking rough. I submit the following as evidence:
Can somebody say helmet head??
I can't explain this. I'm not even sure I want to.....

HA! That first picture looks a little like Elvis. :)
Looks like he was just held under a hairdryer! Cute.
I just love the cute chickadees, wonderful photos.
The rain does their looks no favour, but then I don't look my best, just stepping out of the shower.
Chickadees are cute, no matter HOW they fix their hair!
It is what it is, Shelly, and you documented what you saw. It's not as much fun to photograph when the conditions are not optimum, but in a bird's life, I guess that's the way it is....
He is so beautiful, even with helmet head...your pictures are great!
All this rain has been so hard on the birds. It is sad that they also have to suffer from bad "hair" (feathers) days.

Pretty cute! Nice shots.
Haha! I love old Helmet-head! I like Daisy's comparison to Elvis...he's all shook up!
(My Chiggies were yelling and screaming at me...they weren't looking their best either!)
Too funny! They are probably as sick of the rain as you are.
They are such cute photos though!
I had a couple here that looked rough also. Maybe they are molting. I don't think there are babies out yet. But they do look cute no matter how they look..
He better shape up, the birds here are singing their little hearts out.
Chickadees partying a bit too much there in Michigan?
I had to laugh, couldn't help myself, the chickadee looks like he has partied hearty.
Nice pictures.
Bedhead! :)
