Bald Eagle Sighting in Grayling, Michigan

Today we passed a bald eagle and a juvenile feeding on some deer carcasses on the side of the road in Grayling. This is the 3rd time I've seen an eagle in the past 30 days, but I still feel the same thrill!

My family and I are from southern michigan. We just spent a week vacationing in Grayling in a log cabin on the Au Sable. It was a wonderful week. We too saw the bald eagle eating on a carcass just down the road from Hartwick Pines on road 93. We also saw the young ones too. At one time we saw 5 together. It was an awesome sight to see.

I just posted a bunch of bird pictures on my blog today of all the birds that I captured with my camera while we were up in Grayling. I invite you to come over and see my photos. Tomorrow I'm posting about the Bald Eagle.
