HA! The turkey on the railing was funny but the turkey on the railing reaching up to eat out of the bird feeder is hilarious!

This is one smart turkey to come after Thanksgiving and I love him perched on the rail.

Love the chickadee picture. I don't know what they call the black markings on the front of the chickadee's face (they look like two triangles meeting), bu it is one of my favorite things about them and you captured it perfect.

That is one smart turkey eating out of the feeder. He is also very brave.

Well, for goodness' sake! Who would have expected that?!

These are great. Did he come to visit on Thanksgiving, or did he stay in hiding until it was safe? Hope the turkeys don't decide to come to mine, because here when I see one turkey I see 30. They don't roam alone.

Oops, you said he waited until after Thanksgiving. One smart turkey.

Ha ha! that is so funny. I bet that turkey wishes he were small like the chick-a-dee so he could sit right inside.

Great shots!! ha ha he knew it was safe to come out of hiding...and gobble up those "left over" seeds!

Wow... I want a turkey at my feeder. I see wild turkeys all the time when I am out driving around on country roads but never in my yard. My brother in law has them under his feeders all the time.

I guess that turkey felt safe to come around AFTER thanksgiving.

Love the puffy little 'dee! And the turkey at the feeder is a hoot. Your friend should submit that somewhere...is there a Clever Bird Tricks website or something??

Wow! Who would have expected to see a turkey on the deck railing? And eating from the bird feeder?

And you know I always love your chickadee photographs. Nice post.

Thank you everyone for your comments! My friend E.B. will be grateful that you found his photos entertaining. I'm trying to get him to start his own bird blog!

Hillgrandmom - yes they are - and they almost became the U.S. bird as opposed to our Bald Eagle!
