So many nuts, so little time

Bear with me on all these chickadee and woodpecker photos this week - they were my most popular visitors up at the log cabin. Now at my downstate home I have Bob the Mourning Dove and his 20 friends he invited over for the winter.

The perfect nut!

I love your chickadee photos. It is my favorite bird of all. They are so full of energy and friendly.

I can't get a decent photo of them because they are so hyper. I have to come to your blog to get my fix.

Lovely photo

I too must come to your blog to see the chickadees. I have not seen any in my area yet this autumn.

As for the woodpeckers, they are everywhere. Yesterday I seen downys, hairys, red-breasted, and pileated.

I am happy to stick with your chicadee pics - they are such cute little birds! I don't see them here in Florida at all. I miss the little guys.

Not many chickadees here yet. I wonder where they are hiding?

Beautiful chickadee photos. We had our first Carolina Wren in the garden over the weekend. I was on the phone (long distance) to my daughter and all she could hear was the clicking of the camera :-).

Love your bird pictures. The Chickadee is my favorite little bird. I love to hear his cheery call, especially in winter.

These are real sweeties and they never cease to entertain.

They can seem to have to get that certain seed or nut sometimes.

Just like when we get a can of mixed nuts at home, and everybody goes through and picks out all the cashews and almonds and pecans because we like them best! HA HA! Pretty soon we are left with a can of mixed nuts that has only peanuts and Brazil nuts in it. :D
