They're back!

This morning I was not disappointed. The lighting wasn't good, the photo subject was far away, the new lens wasn't working correctly.....but it didn't matter. My loons are back! Watching the pair swim across the lake brought tears of joy to my eyes.

P.S. Some of you have asked about my Sigma Lens. I took it out for a test drive this morning and discovered something was seriously wrong. I contacted customer service so we'll see what happens. Needless to say I was VERY UPSET! But life goes on...

It's still a nice photo, Shelley. Sorry to hear about the lens. I still would like to buy one of those. As I mentioned before, it got a lot of positive reviews on Amazon.com. Let us know what goes on with it and your customer service response. Hope it's a good one!

Shelly: Love your Loon, too bad your lens ruined a good photo.

Hope you get that lens sorted soon. Must have been a big dissapointment.

I love that photo Shelley. Given the light blue line caused by the loon's journey through the water, I wondered what had made the much bigger one behind! The mind boggles (-:

Oh, I love the loons. Always think of Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn when I see a photo of one.

Bummer about the Sigma, but hooray! Loons are back! I am happy because my barn swallows showed up yesterday. They should keep Gordon company while he works on the chicken coop... they love nesting downstairs in the barn.
