Hi Shelley, Very good pictures of this little Blue Jay. They are not my favorite bird (although they are pretty), they are sort of a bully. I guess I remember my Daddy didn't like them getting our pecans. While we wee eating lunch today a big Jay came in and ran the other birds away!
Nice pictures Shelley. We do not have this kind of birds over here even if it has occasionally been spotted!! Wonderful nature shots in a beautiful environment.
What great captures of the baby Jay! I have quite a few around here now. They are noisy little guys for sure. They are fuzzy and cute though. Have not seen the baby Cardinal in a while. Guess not many lived this year. The baby Grackles have been hiding too. Only saw one a couple times. I love how you get such nice, clear close ups.
Cute Shell.. We have alot of jays around ---and if there has been a baby, I haven't seen one yet. we do have alot of birdie babies around though... All of the little ones are just so cute.
Shelley, He is giving you a look isn't he! ha ha..they are naturally loud but oh how right you are..those babies..they have a huge set of lungs..and boy do they use them!! Cute pictures!!
You have great eyes... now that all the trees have lush leaves on them, I can hear the birds, but I can't see any of them anymore. ha But a baby BlueJay??? That was wonderful!
Great picture of that baby Jay everything all pretty new in its world! I have to tell you, those pines, right? make a beautiful picture too. I love pines and all we have around here are scrub cedars!
Shelley, these are so much better than my nestling shots! Yours baby looks to be a bit older. Mine must have fledged Sunday while we were gone. I haven't seen them this week, and the nest is empty. Great job!
Shelley, four juvenile starlings have fallen down my chimney in the space of 36 hours and we're not getting a chimney cap until July 13th. So far, no birds have been harmed by kitties in the basement, and I have rescued all four starlings safely, but it's getting a little nerve-wracking over here. :)
So cute! We only have 1 Blue Jay that visits our garden. We try and lure him with peanuts however the squirrels seem to get to them all first! We know they are gone by the squacking :-)

Nice shots Shelly. My back yard is over run with baby cards. Can't get a good pic due to the rain and they are way skidish.

your baby bluejay looks alot better than my baby! Yours must have been to the beauty parlor!
Just a baby and he's alrady got that jay attitude: Hmm, she's bigger than me, but maybe I can take her...
Good shots of a cute baby. He certainly had his eye on you in the second photo.
Sweet baby with an ATTITUDE! Love the pics!!!
awwww isn't he cute? I love all the babies this time of year and there are aLOT of them it seems.
Nice one Shelly. Certainly not camera shy!
Beautiful shots. Such a pretty little Blue Jay.
And aren't they the noisy ones??!! Cute but he'll grow up to be one of those "bad birds"!

Not only is the baby beautiful, the greenery in your photo is so lush looking.
Birds always look so funny when they look straight at the camera. Really like the first photo.
What a sweetie! How does Scout like birds? Has she been kayaking with you yet? Sharon
Great pictures in a natural setting. They look so soft a fluffy.
Had a little trouble publishing this, so if it is a duplicate, please forgive me.
I love the setting. He is a cute little fellow.
Blessings,Ruth
Great picture. Let's hope he grows up to be a nice blue jay and one that will leave mourning doves alone!

Nice photos! There's just nothing like babies in the wild.
...what a cutie patutie! I love his tiny little tail. Great photographs of him....
Shelly: I have seen a few of these little guys at the feeder. They are so cute.
Great photos of an adorable baby bird! So cute!
Great captures!!
These are great shots of the baby and I guess they're just as noisy as mom and pop.
So cute Shelly!!! I have yet to see a baby Blue Jay this year.
That really is a beautiful baby. We have a pair with two that come around but they are larger and more feathered-out in the tail. LOL
THE BACKGROUND PINE NEEDLES REALLY ADD TO THIS ADORABLE SHOT!
Nice shots Shelley. Never seen these before.
Very cute! I love Bluejays and only see them occasionally.

I don't think I've ever seen a baby Jay! How sweet!
Lovely, lovely!

Great pictures, Shelley. I don't think he approved of you saying he was making a racket. HA!
Happy 4th of July to you!

Adorable photos Shelley! Our young Blue Jays just made themselves visible yesterday and were being fed by their mama.
Great shots! ..I am having a great time watching all the fledglings now!
Lovely images, the first one with the side pose is cute.
...Shelley...if you read the comics, did you see this morning's "Mutts?" A loon was the star and made me think of you!
Ha ha! He's cute. Babies always make a racket. They're good at stringing. :)
I love the first photo. It does make me think of Christmas cards.
Shelly: Really cute.
These are gorgeous pictures! Took my breath away for a moment!
I've been going through the photos I've been missing....you have some great shots and that doggie of yours is adorable.
