wow , that Turkey Vulture is awesome :-)
Birdlady - lol - only a mother would, right?!
Nick - thank you - I do think they're interesting birds.
Bird girl - Thanks! He was feeding on a carcass so he did allow me to get a little close to snap a couple pics. Still learning how to work my camera though...I think the image is too light.
I never see the vultures except high overhead. Nice photos you got here. Thanks for visiting my birds blog.
Gorgeous pictures! The swan is graceful and beautiful, but the vulture is graceful in flight. Both noble birds in their own way.
Beauty is all in how you look at things.. great post.. thanks for sharing your wonderful pics..
So glad to see both birds... but it is so unsusual to see Vultures out this way... I just caught one myself having a bit of roadkill porcupine yesterday... He didn't want to move away from it either.. I was so excited... crazy head... gorgeous wingspan!!
Great photos...Love that turkey vulture!

Sandpiper - I completely agree with your comments.
Stacey - I wish I could have you teach me how to use my camera so I can take photos half as good as yours! (Or sandpipers for that matter too!)
Gwen & sandy - thank you for coming by!!
