There is so much beauty in the intricate markings of the little birds....and your photos show these details we only glimpse as the feathered beauties fly away.
These little birdies seem to be in abundance up your way this year. Everyone is posting them. It's a shame they don't visit here in GA! Great photos Shelley!
Hi Shelley, Woow these are two great shots!!!! I went out today and only saw them for far away. The y mainly stayed in the branches of the trees because of the full force wind we do have at the moment. Anyway, well done with these shots they are superbe.
Shelly: This is when I get confused, these were all sparrows to me before my blog friends gave them names. BTW: I had seen the fox two other times but no camera or good light was available.
Cute little bird, Shelley... I looked up Redpolls and found out that they don't come down here. Sigh!! I was hoping to see one someday. Guess I'll have to come to Michigan.

Hi Shelley,
This is a beautiful little bird. I don't think we have those down south.
I haven't had any redpolls this year, but what a wonderful portrait of them ...
These are pretty little birds! After your last post mentioning them, I researched and found that we don't get them this far south.
The second guy is definitely posing for you!
Super shots, as always!

I love these, he's so darn cute.
Adorable little bird. We haven't seen them here but our book says we could and we have their winter habitat. Guess we need to keep our eyes open.
Pretty little guy!

What sweet pictures to wake up to this morning.
What an adorable bird with the cutest poses! I am going to see one this weekend. I can just feel it!!! ;o)
You've caught both sides of his personality...the angle of the first shot makes him look like he is king of the fir tree. Nice shots!!

How cute! You still have alot of snow. Thank God ours is almost gone.
I spotted one Redpoll at my feeder this winter. I was thrilled to see him. He hasn't come back again yet.
Lovely shots of the Redpoll. Such a nice little guy to pose for you.
Awwww!
FAB pictures Shelly & I also haven't seen any this year (yet) in the UK.

I'm so jealous...I love these little fluff balls, and your photos make them look even cuter!!!
Nice pose and shot. I have had 1 red poll in my yard all winter. The rest must have flown off to Michigan.
NICE Shelly! I just got my first redpoll last week. She is a super cutie!
I am just crazy in love with Redpolls!!!
Beautiful photographs. I like how the snow on the tree and on the ground provides an excellent background for the subject.

Pretty bird---he looks a little chilly with his feet in the snow.
Shel . . . VERY NICE! :) I love these guys!
And very cute either way!
Beautiful bird and wonderful images. The details, colors, sharpness and boken...everything is so perfect.
Look at the moisture at the tip of his beak.
