What a sweet photo! It's so odd to see snow in your photo. It was 65 degrees here today and my jonquils are beginning to bloom! I know more cold will come our way, but I'm grateful for these nice days to get out and enjoy the yard. Have a good week!

Hello little Chickadee! Your weather looks like ours. I will tell your family hello.

I love chickadees. They stay around all winter. Our cats love it when they swarm the bird feeder just outside our family room. The windows become kitty tv.

...that has to be one of the CUTEST chickadee photos I've ever seen. The deep black and the fluffy white with the warm tan...and then add in the barely visible eyes...Ack!!

Hello chickadee!! Such a cute photo. I love how you can see the detail of its fine chest feathers when you enlarge the picture. So sweet!

Hi Shelley and Hi Chickadee!
They are one of my favorites. They are quick as lightening as they come to the feeder, sing their little song, get one sunflower seed and ZIP they're gone!

Hello back at you. Got internet access, has been hard getting it. You have been posting some great photos while I have been gone. Will probably not get good access until I get home. I saw lots of different ducks today, and was hoping for a loon, but as best I can tell, no loons in the bunch. Needless to say I was thinking of you while photographing. Will visit more of your back post when I can keep access.

Hello Chickadee-dee-dee! We have many of you kin here too ! Black capped , chestnut, every day...eating the sunflower seeds and competing with the squirrel and pine siskins and grosbeaks! But hey, come on over to the Pacific Northwest, our bird feeders are always full!

When I read the title, I thought of Al Pacino in Scarface. I can't see the chickadee doing such murderous things! Sweet picture!

He looks happy and warm despite the snow. Maybe he's got his boots on.
