The Mourning Doves are one of my favourite birds. They've nested above the same arbour in our garden for the past few years. Bob is a handsome dove.
We name ALL the birds too :-)

Oh Shelley, you make me laugh and I needed that today! Bob IS a big puff ball for whatever reason! cute.
Shelly, too funny, but what a neat shot of Bob! A handsome dove indeed! Being a dove expert I was wondering if you can you tell me why Bob and his flock need to make such a squeaky noise as they fly??..a sound that resembles a squeak from not oiling those wing hinges??
Bob makes me think of Jiffy-Pop popcorn!

What a beautiful picture. The detail is amazing. A few minutes ago, my kitchen curtain slipped off the window & my cat PUFFED UP just like Bob!
