What would spring be without them? Lovely! Re: my bluebirds - last summer they were movie stars - I installed a nestbox cam, and we watched the entire process - it was miraculous. I installed the camera again, but they got fickle, and nested elsewhere - the first brood, to my horror, in a Williamsburg-type ceramic bottle; this clutch is in my "other" nestbox, the one we usually have chickadees or titmice in.

To me Robins always look like a boy with his first suit. So proud and standing up straight. Another great photo
Thank you Stacey - I definitely view them in a different way.
Birdgirl- thank you!!
Birdlady - I agree about the Robins. I keep thinking about getting a nestcam - but I think all the babies are in your yard!
Onedia - What a great analogy!
This is a beautiful portrait. I love when the Robins return in the springtime. Their songs are wonderful.
Sandpiper - I love their cheerful song too! :-)
