Another Grosbeak photo

I just can't stop taking photos of the rose-breasted grosbeak. They just have such sweet faces - and I love their large beak. Their songs are so pretty - sometimes I think I'm hearing a Robin and then the grosbeak magically appears. The females that visit my feeder seem pretty unafraid of me.

Why, Why on Earth would you ever want to stop taking such great photos. Don't say that! Just take more photos. You do a great job.

Thanks for the visit,
Troy and Martha

When I lived downstate, I remember the Grosbeaks stopping by at our feeders under an apricot tree. They'd just stay long enough to fuel up to fly further north. I too have several nesting pairs here at my cabin. Ironic to now have come full cycle with them.

Great Pixs!

She's beautiful. Keep snapping those pictures. I've only had one visit me here once at this house and it never came back!

Nick - I think so too!

Dave - the past few weeks I have seen more females than males...

Sandy - many thanks!

Birdgirl - they really have grown on me - rank up there w/ the female cardinal in my opinion.

Sandpiper - I will send some your way!
