Bird Humor

Alas I got no good bird shots the past couple days. So here's your dose of Shelley's warped bird humor!

Nothing warped about that Shelly, just a case of bad table manners!

Oh those cutie pies!!! Glad you can understand their language like I can, Shelley. We had snow and cold temps today---so our feeders were busy ALL day long. Mr Downy came by several times!!!!

Hope you have a great day tomorrow.
Hugs,
Betsy

The snow does make a pretty backdrop for birds doesn't it? What are your favorite places to photograph birds and how many birds do you have on your 'list'?

LOL! I love how the house sparrow is looking up toward the sky. The woodpecker looks as if he lives there and is in heaven over the yummy suet.

Your humor is the best; ditto your bird shots!! Keep 'em both coming!!

Great photos and humor! The only bird that I have seen eating suet is the Carolina Wren.

Isn't that the truth! Sometimes the Downys appear to almost fall asleep while they're hanging out on the suet or peanut feeder. Guess it just feels like home.

I forgot to send birdseed with Jimmy to Rockwood, so I know the birds don't understand why he is back but they don't have feed in their feeders.

I have now caught up with one of your blogs after my 3 weeks of vacation. Now onto another blog.

There's nothing like a little sarcasm in bird land and I love it even more when it is a flitty little woodpecker!! lol

Our suet hogs, the stellar jays hog everything. and the other poor little birds just sit in nearby bushes like your cardinals are doing!

Shell, ROFL!!! Don't those woodpeckers peck the daylights out of the suet. :D I loooove watching them. We have two suets now. I hope that helps the other birds out.

It'll probably just attract more woodpeckers.

I sure am glad to have these darling birds humor me during the loooong winter months. :D

SUPER, ADORABLE POST AND GREAT PHOTOS!!! You have helped me make it through this winter with your beautiful blog and personality. :D

Have fun at the cabin.

Hugs, JJ
