I think she's after me!

This female Redpoll was flitting from the tree, to the deck to the table while I was filling the thistle feeders. I knew she wanted me to hurry. Look at that intimidating face!

Do you ever just hold your hand out? My girls get into the birds feeding out of their hands every so often. I was amazed when they first did it.
We have a couple of birds that tap the window to tell us the feeders are empty. They stop as so as someone goes out to take care of them.

Sometimes I will find them looking through the windows to get my attention that the grub has run dry.

What a beautiful bird. I'm in northern Indiana, but I don't think I've ever had one stop at the feeder. Lucky you!

"Hurry up missy," she seems to be saying! :c)

Now there's another bird you might get to sit on your hand Shelley...hurry and train her before she leaves!!!

I don't think it is intimidation...just "hurry up!"

Excellent close up! Beautiful colors!
I think you have tamed most of your birds by now!

Shelly: I don't see these guys, maybe I just need to look harder.

Lovely Shelley... He is not that intimidating because it is a small bird, but he looks curious!!! A very nice shot!

Nope. I wouldn't mess with her either!

Nice shot. Don't you just love the greedy little things who get so impatient?

That is a very intense little expression. If a bird can "purse" its beak like we purse our lips, than that must be it!!

You get such stunning close shots Shelley. Love this Redpoll photo and yes she does look a bit bossy! (-: My word verification was buzzedin, most appropriate for a Redpoll call!

Hey you, don't forget to fill it right up! FAB

P.S. Verification was "FOODI", how appropriate

Nice shot. She only wanted to say "I'm hungry, hurry up!" and that's pretty understandable ;-)

This sure looks like the photo I posted of my little birds on my deck....now I gotta figure out what the yellow feathered one was...maybe a pine siskin (per my readers)???

This is a super shot. What a red little head!! :)

Hey, I'm bummed you can't watch the kitty video on my blog. I'd send it to you directly, but it's something like 21 MB and would no doubt explode your mailbox... :)
