Peter the Tufted Titmouse

I've been hearing a lot of "peter, peter, peter" at the log cabin, so then I just figured the Tufted Titmouse was telling me his name. So here's Peter. The other day he thought it was funny to bounce off my head while I was trying to hand feed the chickadees. Perhaps Peter would like to eat out of my hand?!

*P.S. I am headed to the cabin this weekend and will catch up with you on Sunday. Sorry if I've missed some of your blogs lately, it's been crazy at my house since I've been helping my husband with his company as well as managing my own.

Love it Shelley!

Don't know what I would do if I didn't hear that "Peter, Peter" everyday.

Yup that's his name all right. I have a Peter and a Peterette here. I have guests who come to see and hear them as Titmice are very rare in this state.

We call them "Tuffy" ...my hubby says I remind him of one...that I'm a Tuffy! I think that's a compliment. : )

I think we all get away from the pc a bit more as the temps warm up!

Hope Peter didn't poop right as he bounced off your head. I will watch for that bouncing trick around my yard.

Hi Shelley, I'm having trouble with blogger reader showing my updated posts. I just posted a photo of my friend's grandbaby and she will be so sad if there are only a few comments. If you go to blogger reader, and click on Nalley Valley rather than the last title listed, you should get the updated post. Thanks you.

Shelly, I love all of the different types of feeders that you have. How do you keep the squirrels from bothering them? I have a couple of feeders that are truly squirrel proof, but the basket style sure would be great for a mix with peanuts and such that so many of the birds love.
