My puppy Scout

Sorry I haven't been posting or visiting you these past couple days - our new puppy Scout is keeping me busy! I've been wanting a Bernese Mountain Dog for so many years and still cannot believe she's finally here! I'm working on the housebreaking (fun!) I will be over to visit you in the next couple days - promise!

Scout is sooo cute. What fun. I've been really busy too, as our daughter is here from Alaska. I probably won't be on the computer for about 10 days starting July 1st.

She is soooooo precious. I would have a hard time scolding her for anything. I bet she will be so smart, you will have her potty trained in no time!

Scout is Perfect! Our neighbor got one like her this spring and she is the most beautiful, well behaved dog. Lucky you. But then, I love just about any dog.

Scout is so cute! He will no doubt grow up with a great appreciation for the loons and siskins, but does he like Marvin? :-)

So Scout is home. Great! Will the loons get to see you at all this summer?

What an adorable pup! I wish I could have pets. I have to be satisfied with visiting the pet adoption place. Allergies, you know.

Have fun with the housetraining!

How adorable..what an awesome face that is..good luck with the potty training..hope you are getting some sleep..it is work..but I always trained our brittanys to "go potty" when I said a certain word..it is a lot of time to follow pooch outside EACH time and repeat the word as he/she took care of things..but in the long run it really paid off, as when we traveled and needed to stop if I told them to "caboose" (our word we chose) they knew we weren't there to have fun and snif out every critter..or if we just are going in the car to the grocery..it is a quick way to "water" the pooch before hand.
He sure is a cutie!!

Oh My Gawd! That has got to be the most adorable puppy face in creation! I love B.M. dogs. Big as bears and every ounce of love & affection. I've been wanting a dog for a while, but my lifestyle doesn't allow for it right now. I'm not sure I could pick just one breed anyway...

Hard to believe that extra cute little puppy will grow into a huge mountain dog.
Such an intelligent look in those expressive eyes, he will be a great companion to you for many years.

I'll visit more now too now that my book project is in the completion stage. Am looking forward to enjoying the rest of the summer with blog surfing and outdoor adventures.

Your loon photos are magnificent!!! You light up my life, girlfriend.
