Once again Shelley has told me no to going outside. My promises have fallen on deaf ears and the birds outside will never know my friendship. And here I sit, taunted all day long hearing "chicka dee dee dee!" Doesn't that bird know any other songs?!

Thank you for keeping Marvin indoors! (even though he doesn't believe you when you tell him it's better that way!)
Perfect Chickadee picture.
Isn't he cute? Looks like he is looking at the cat, or posing for you.
Too cute!!
So funny! Don't you just know that's what's on his mind.
Ha Ha! Very sweet Shelley! That sure is one mischievous looking chickadee!
I think he is saying..yea you can run and jump but you can't fly!!Great pic!
LOL . I feel your pain Shelley. We now have 6 neighborhood cats to contend with.
4 on one side and 2 on the other side of our fence.
I think I might have to make the fence a tad higher next year or there will be feathers flying me thinks...
I'm glad you don't let your kitty out! He can watch "Birdie TV" through the window. Cute post!
I wish I could keep tigger tiger inside. He is too good at catching birds. It upsets me so when he does that.
I am sure he'd try to be a good...err.. friend. :c)
Perhaps psychological counseling for kitty?
Love that chickadee!
Beautiful! A perfect capture! So were your Nuthatch shots! Terrific!
Cheers, Klaus
Poor, tortured Marvin! ;)
Just FYI, we got our cats an outdoor enclosure from this place(The Cats Den):

Not particularly cheap, but the cats do enjoy it! We have the basic tall cage with shelves and a hammock (spoiled cats!) I'm glad Marvin is an indoor kitty. So much safer for him, and the birds too.
Meow! You look so cute their in the window.
Shelly: Cute little bird, you need to keep your cat under control. LOL
Shelley - you must have had a telephoto lens to capture that beautiful shot of the chickadee. Great photo; and love your kitty photo, too.
Cute - the photos and the post.
:-)
What a darling post. I loved it. Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful bird pictures!
