Wonderful shot. These little guys always look, to me, to be the most serious of the 'gray birds'.
And there it is!!! Perfect! Thanks so much Shelley! Now my day is Sunny Side Up!!!
Shelly: Not only a great photo, but it was so interesting that you pointed out the stash.
Great shot of the natural pose of this lovely little bird.
Isn't it neat how these bird hide seeds in nooks and crannies - I've seen the red-bellied woodpeckers do that with mulberries, too! Great upside down pose!
they are so darn cute & noisy too. I always enjoy watching them.
I love nuthatches. They are so cute!!! But in the winter they open their seeds on the roof. I'm always glad when they choose a tree instead.Super pic!!!Hugs, JJ
Yep! That's the pose that all nuthatches strike! Upside down coming down the tree. Great catch.
Very clever little guy!
Love these guys :-)
It is always good to see the world from the view of a nuthatch (and its stash)...up side down! Cool shot!
Aren't they pretty, Shelley???? I love to see them climbing upside down!!! Maybe the world looks better to them that way! ha
I would have never noticed the seed if you had not pointed it out. Didn't know they did this. Thought birds just eat as they find.
Like I commented on your previous post on this bird, you have really really shot them in all possible camera angles and done well
Such smart little birds!
