Juvenile Trumpeter Swan

I heard this trumpeter swan before I saw him at Seney National Wildlife Refuge. I followed his honking (well actually it's not honking but not sure how to describe his sound) to this little pond on the refuge. He was so loud...not sure if he was honking for his parents...but he was by himself. I hope not for long!

I know swans have rather nasty personalities, but they surely are beautiful. Nice shot.

Oh, he's so beautiful. I've only seen them once when I was in upstate NY. Gorgeous birds.
