I've been neglecting my other bird friends up at our Log Cabin. As KJ noted, I'm becoming a "LOONATIC!"
"Shelley, we think you are spending too much time on the Loons!"
"Hello! How about me over here? I'm as handsome as those Loons!"
"Don't worry kids, she loves us too much. She'll be back!"

OH MY GOSH! You have got to be kidding me! Didn't we just talk about how much alike we are?
I was just outside taking pictures of a female goldfinch!!!!!!!!
This is too funny!
Nope, you are not a loonatic! We are enjoying every picture of the loon family. Of course, we do love a goldfinch and grosbeak every now and then. Wonderful photos.
Of course you are a loonatic! - But this Rank is given to you as a sign of respect and as reference for caring about your Loons! So don't let anyone tell you otherwise! :)
You can feed us Loons anytime!
Cheers, Klaus
Love the Grosbeak pic. We all have our favorites, and yours are the loons. You have great loon photographs to prove it.
Wowee! That grosbeak is amazing! Love it!
Great photos Shelly, vivid colors and heck yeah, sometimes its' good to just mix it up...I'm sure that's what the loons are thinking...
Wendy- Hi sis! :-)
NC - thank you - glad I'm not boring you with the loons!
KJ - it's with pride that I'm a "loonatic" - ha,ha!

Wow - you have a bird site! I love birding! I know have all your sites blogrolled - you're great!
Anna - thank you for the visit & kind words!
Oneida - sorry to hear about your Bradford pear!!
Bobbi - you are way too kind!!
Great photos! That goldfinch really looks like it wants to give you a good scolding!
Love that you got the rosy armpit of the Grosbeak! Not too many get to see the underwing! Very cool!
You can never spend too much time on loons, especially when they have chicks. All the passerines in the world will just have to deal with it.
