If you look to the far right of this photo, you can see the loon chick with his head underwater. He was mimicking his mother and I believe looking for fish.

Great loon shots. I went up to northern Minnesota over the 4th weekend and was hoping to spot a loon but no such luck. Maybe I will have to make a trip up the the UP sagain some time.
