What kind of bird is this?

Do you think this is a juvenile tufted titmouse? Once again, I'm stumped!

I think you have it spot on - a young of year Tufted Titmouse. Note the rust patch underwing, and generally coloration, and body type. The crest will develop later this Fall.

I'd say a Titmouse too. That red color under the wing says so to me.

Two of them were at my feeders this morning. They are so delicate and adorable.

I agree that it is almost certainly a little titmouse. And what a cute little thing.

I'm going with the yes's on this on this one. What a pretty little bird!

I think it is for sure a titmouse - could be a youngster, but could also just not have its crest up...really, really cute.

Tufted titmouse... it could be a juvenile or it could be a molting adult. It seems like some flight feathers are being replaced, so the crest could be too.

Looks like a Tufted Titmouse, I agree. I am not the best bird ID'er and sometimes confuse them with Red Breasted Nuthatches, but your bird doesn't have the white stripes on the head that a RB Nuthatch would have.

I will have to see what southern species I can flush up this weekend to post to my blog, meanwhile it's nice visiting the other nature blogs!

I don't know what it is but it's so artsy and beautiful. Love the background.

It seems like my Titmouse are not showing their Tufted Crest that they are named after either. I have a post ready on my photos. Yours is better.
