Some of my favorites - Part I

I will be out over the weekend but wanted to share some of my favorite photos. I look forward to catching up with all of your blogs!

I never get enough of the Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I think they have one of the sweetest bird faces!

Rose Breasted Grosbeaks are one of my favorite birds. Don't they sing a beautiful, cheery song!!!

You have quite the talent for snapping bird photos. These pics are STUNNING!!!

Hi Shelley, have just found your blog via sunny side up blog. Your bird photos are stunning. I came birding to Michigan a few years ago, but my holiday was way too short to do the state justice! Did see Kirtland's Warbler though! (-:

Beautiful photos! We live in Michigan, too, and enjoy the same birds as you do, but we certainly don't have your camera talents.

I went up to check on our Northern Michigan cottage a few days ago and spotted an old oriole nest hanging by a thread. I took a few (less than perfect) pix to record it for my family.

Glad to have found your blog!

Thank you for visiting Shelly. You have beautiful fall photos on your other blog and the same for this birding blog. I had a poor male RB grosbeak singing his heart out this spring..I wonder if he finally found a mate as I didn't see him this summer...

I'm going to miss my grosbeaks this winter.
