Bob? Is that you? Did you follow me to the log cabin?
Bob! I know that's you! Take your head out of the snow!
Bob, now you have snow all over your beak!
I missed you Shelley!

I'd follow you too Shelley!
I love your Bob posts.
Am I the only one that thinks MODO's are beautiful?
Ha ha ha! Oh, this one made me laugh right out loud! So cute!
I talk to birds all the time, but not usually the doves...but yesterday I found myself asking the dove on my rail - "Do you know Bob?"
Lovely shots of the Mourning Dove Shell. Is that really Bob, or did he go on a diet ? :-)
Oh cute little Bob!
What a funny bird Bob is! He reminds me of the "milk" commercial with the milk mustache in the one photo with snow!
I just love the diving in the snow picture. Great shots.
Wild wave to Shell and Bob!!!
What a DELIGHTFUL, BEAUTIFUL, ENGAGING post, Shell. I hope I see you on PBS one day. :D
I'm happy you enjoyed the snowy Tahquamenon Fall photo. Jeff and I loooooved the winter visit. :D
Hugs, JJ
Shelley, That's not Bob.. That's Henry--Bob's 3rd cousin!!1 He was trying to tell you --but you just weren't listening... You gotta listen closer, Shelley!!!!! HA HA HA HA
Hugs,
Betsy
Beautiful colors captured in that first pic!
How cute! Bob looks to be a real sweetheart :-) I can see that I'll have to check on some past Bob posts.
Shelley, I think Bob might be a stalker!! You'd better gather those chickadees around you for some security!!
I think I'm already following - Loved the storyline and Bob.
They are sweet aren't they..I had to see them as a pile of feathers...
Ya know, you've made us 'Bob freaks'. I love his stories and I too talk to my Doves and ask "Do you know Bob?' lol Aren't we funny?
Lynne - I do think they're beautiful too! All 100 of them in my yard! LOL!
Wendy - Glad I could make you laugh today! Hope your arm is doing ok!
Birdlady - Okay - that comment made me laugh very hard!! What was their answer?
Nick - I think Bob has lost some weight. He has been working out you know.
Dawn - a dove after my own heart!
Mildred - good analogy!
NC- thank you! HE sure likes the snow!
Nature Nut - next on my list is a camcorder to document Bob's life. Watch out PBS! LOL!
Betsy - I hope I don't have an imposter in my midst! LOL!
Hannibal - thank you! His feathers were looking especially nice on this day!
Mary - he is a nice chap! Hasn't left my side in the past 3 years!
Tina - you're right! I might need to get him psychiatric help as well!
Early Birder - glad you liked the Bob post. Since I have plenty of mourning doves in my yard year round - my imagination runs wild!
Rambling Woods - it does make me sad when a hawk cherry picks one of them out of my group. Hopefully Bob is kept safe!
Jalynn - my neighbors and family all think I'm crazy. Only my hubby keeps a straight face when he hears me talking to them outside! lol!
Bob - lookin' goo-ood!
Shelley, I gave you an award on my blog:

Does Bob think you are his lifetime mate?

I think it is cute when the birds put their heads into the snow like that. Maybe Bob was bashful about following you across Michigan.
Beautiful photos!!! All of them are great.
Shelly, again, the photography is beautiful and you captured 'Bob' very well. The subtle coloring and twinkle in his eyes....
I'm so glad he came to visit Shelley! Yes he is a hansome dude!
Shelly: You had better watch it, your husband is going to get jealous if Bob keeps following you around.
Your photos were really good of Bob.
The Birdlady was being funny.
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Shelley, you get such amazing photos. I love the one with his head in the snow and then the next one with the snow beard-ha ha ha! So great! Thanks for the big laugh this morning. :D
I think he is hiding his head in the snow because he is ashamed you called him Bob. That's Bubba, Bob's cousin.
Looks like you and the birds have been having fun! Nice captures of the dove and the siskin!
I must ask...where did Bob decide to poop in the snow?? LOL!
I love your Bob posts??
Smiles,
Beth
Mourning Doves are such interesting birds! :)
He knows who offers the best food. He will follow you anywhere!
Bob's a cutie and I love the shot with his head in the snow.
