Okay, I'm done complaining about my bird drought. Today I am reminiscing about the Bald Eagle I photographed last winter. I'll be looking for them again.....

Wow, that's quite a shot and that eagle looks so huge perched atop that carcass.
Oh my Shelley...what a photo!
That's fantastic! I hope they come agan and you can get more like this!
Beautiful shot...couldn't have asked for a better perch
Perfect photo.
The Thoreau quote on your header is one of my favorites!
The acceptance by a natural creature greater than any man-given honor.
We saw loons on our trip west a few weeks ago, to northern Washington. I miss them so.
It reminded me that I can see them much more easily by driving due north.
Eagles, too!
A nice reminder.
Wow, That is an awesome picture!
I do hope your eagles come back. Not only for your sake, but so we can see those great pictures.
Kathie - he was a nice size bird!
jayne - thank you!
Birdlady - I hope so too. I know where the spot is where a person drops off road kill for them to feed upon - so I'll be waiting....
T&S - Thanks so much!
Lynne - Gracias!!
Nina - So glad you like my Thoreau quote and appreciate the sentiment!
Wendy - think I can get better ones this year as I'm beginning to master my camera better.
NC - from your mouth to God's ears!
GREAT SHOT Shelley! What a fantastic bird.
Looks like you got pretty close and he was too engrossed in that poor Deer to fly away :-)
Hope you see more, and I'll be looking out for some here too !
WOW!!! An AMAZING photo!!! How cool you were able to get that close to capture the shot. Aren't eagles majestic creatures!
Hugs, JJ
Oh now this is fantastic..what a catch....
What a great shot!
Bald Eagle is such a handsome raptor!
Thats a great shot! I can see why you rememeber this one!
This one is worth a bird drought, but we forget what we have already seen. We want action daily.
Shelly: Wonderful shot of the Eagle, I would like to get that close to one. My friend at the lake saw one on the shore last week. That's what I want when I have my camera.
Enjoyed my catch up here. You always treat us with great photos.
