I need answers. St. Francis has been beheaded!
This is terrible! Who could've done this?!
Well I didn't want to say anything and I was just minding my own business getting ready for winter but....I did see Bob the Mourning Dove in the vicinity....
We the jury find Bob the Mourning Dove guilty!
Huh?

This post is sooo cute! It made me smile. You are so creative with your posts.
Well, that was a fun way to start the day! Thanks!
Oh, my. Poor St. Francis. Hope you can put him back together again! :c)
He looks awfully guilty! You better call in a Crime scene unit! Though it looks as if your case is pretty straight forward.
Fun post!
Cheers, Klaus
Shelley your posts always put a smile on my face while I'm drinking my morning coffee and I actually think Bob is innocent and that little tattletale chipmunk has it out for him.
Waaa! Bob's been framed!!
I would never take the word of a chipmunk. They are not to be trusted.
Thanks for the laugh.
OH! When I read the title "Who did this" I thought - bird poop! then I saw picture and gasped!
I say "Innocent until proven guilty!"
Peekaboo - so glad I made you smile!
Birdlady - Glad I was able to be a part of it!
Jayne - I'm going to have the hubby glue his head back on!
KJ - you're right about a crime unit!
Gardener - the chipmunk always has had a big mouth - look how much he can stuff into those cheeks of his!
Lynne - I still declare Bob guilty - lol!
NC - but look at that chipmunk's cute little face...
Wendy- you're right - I need to follow the legal system...
Birdgirl - I just can't believe my sweet little chipmunk could do any wrong...:-)
And it had been so pretty with the birds in your earlier post. I was like Wendy, I gasped at the first photo. Love the series to go with it.
I just don't think he did it. I'm banking the squirrel did it.
Leedra - I gasped & almost cried when I saw what happened to St. Francis!
Charli - you may be right....
Poor St. Francis! I hope he has good medical insurance. It was probably one of MY squirrels! The ones who keep rearranging my garden and beheading my roses. Cute post!
Poor Bob, I think that he was framed by the shifty looking ground squirrel.
I agree, it must have been that dove..haha
I love it when all your critter talk to each other! It's very entertaining.
Poor St Francis. Can he be repaired? I'm sure Bob didn't mean it!
St. Francis. Oh no! The animals all love him. Its definately a frame-up.
Oooh! A mystery! I love it! Hope to hear more as the evidence unfolds...
I don't know what upset me more, the grave injury to St. Francis (who was clearly minding his own business) or the fact that you said you're "getting ready for winter." I'm not even ready for fall yet (although I think we may be in for a killer frost very soon, so time to get in the rest of the tomatoes.)
It was the squirrel. It's always the squirrel.
