Ouch! I hope this is at the cabin, we got some today but it didn't stick. Nice shot of the Downey.

Nice quote Shelley. There is something to be said about an early morning snow that muffles every sound but the sweet call of a chickadee (or in your case a sharp cry of a Hairy!!!).

Snow makes such a nice backdrop for bird pictures. Here's hoping for a snowy winter down in North Carolina!

Shell, you have the BEST bird photos!!! Great post.

You've had more snow than we've had. Are you walking around snapping tons of fluffy weed seed photos too? They sure photograph well. I had fun today. Hugs, JJ

I'm lovin' seeing your beautiful snow pictures. The Hairy looks wonderful on the tree! The birds do love the snow and come by the numbers when it blankets the backyard.

Wonderful photos, Shelly. No snow for us here yet, and I'm in no hurry for it either. It looks pretty in your picture though. :D

The snow looks beautiful, but you can keep it! The woodpecker shots are terrific, especially with the snow!
